Hay Days Swap Meet

Swap Info

• Swap gate opens to swappers at 3:00 PM on Friday and will stay open until swap is full or the road has been cleared Friday night.

• Swap gate reopens about 6:30 PM Saturday to refill spots vacated by one day swappers

• Your swap fee is good for both days. You must purchase a two day wrist band to swap for both days. You vehicle will be specially marked to indicate you are a two day swapper

• You may leave the Haydays grounds to eat, etc... and come back until 10:00 PM. After 10:00 PM the gates are closed and there will be no reentry until the next morning.

• Sno-Barons assume no liability for lost or stolen items. It is your responsibility to secure/protect your property. You may stay in your vehicle overnight or put up a tent inside your swap space. It cannot extend out into the fire lane.

These rules will be strictly enforced

Violation of any of these rules could result in your expulsion from the grounds and forfeit of any fees and admission paid.

• No riding or operation of any motorized vehicles allowed other than for static demo of items for sale.

• No open fires or grills allowed. (You are in a dry hayfield)

• No Bicycles allowed

• No selling of food or beverages.

• No items tents or pop-ups are allowed in the fire lane.

• No pets allowed. Both for their safety and the safety of others.

• Quiet time 10:00 PM to 7:00 AM, No loud stereos or radios allowed anytime

• Swappers must stay in their site or leave the grounds Friday and Saturday night. No roaming around or swapping.

• Best direction to arrive from: Arrive from the North on County Road 23 (Lake Drive). Less traffic and the right turn into swap goes much quicker.

• To Speed up the line: Have your cash ready and know ahead of time how many one and/or two day wrist bands you will need.

• To speed up parking: Indicate if you prefer to park on the right or left side of the row.

• One place trailers will be available for customers who need a way to get their purchases from the Swap or dealer area to a spot where they can pick it up with their cars or trucks. ATVAM will be pulling the trailers with their all terrain vehicles, from sites on the grounds to other vehicles in the swap or to the drop-off area in the southwest corner of the swap. (Near Zodiac Street) They are not allowed to leave the Haydays event. The staging area for near the center of swap area at the east-west, north-south cross road isles. Customers needing assistance will need to come to this staging area to request assistance in moving their purchases.

Buyer Beware

• Buyers need to ensure that their purchases are not stolen or of questionable origin. The Anoka County Sheriffs who are located around the grounds can help to verify that  the serial number does not belong to a stolen vehicle. The Anoka County Sheriffs department will be spot checking sleds leaving the grounds.

• Buyers should also beware of giving a seller the full amount or putting down a large deposit in cash and leaving the site/seller to find a way to haul your purchase out. You may return to an empty spot.
