Handicap Vehicle Access at Hay Days 2025
We’re committed to making Hay Days 2025 accessible, inclusive, and safe for all attendees. To help us achieve that, we’ve updated our mobility vehicle policy and application process.
What’s Allowed Without Pre-Approval
Golf Carts and Mobility Scooters are preferred for on-site use and do not require advance approval.
Walk-up registration for golf carts and scooters will be available at all spectator gates during box office hours.
Handicap stickers and wristbands are free of charge with proper documentation.
Required Documentation
To receive a Hay Days Handicap Sticker, you must present both of the following:
- Proof of Disability:
- A doctor’s note or official letter stating the name of the person requesting access and confirming eligibility for a state-issued handicapped plate or mirror tag.
- Please note: A hang tag alone is not acceptable documentation.

- Proof of Liability Insurance:
- A current insurance policy that names the vehicle you plan to bring. If the vehicle is not listed by name, you must provide:

- A letter from your insurance provider verifying the vehicle is covered under that policy

All documents must be current and shown at the spectator gates upon arrival.
Parking Information
There is no on-site parking for handicap vehicles. However, nearby pay lots are available and located adjacent to the Hay Days grounds.

Important Rules and Regulations
- Only one passenger is allowed per mobility vehicle, regardless of how many seats it has.
- Automobiles and similar personal vehicles are not permitted inside the gates as mobility vehicles.
- Pedestrians always have the right of way.
- Keep your speed slow and controlled at all times.
- No alcohol consumption by anyone operating a mobility vehicle.
- You must keep a copy of your paperwork with you at all times while operating your vehicle at Hay Days.
Failure to follow these rules will result in denial or removal of your vehicle from the event grounds.
