We’re thrilled to announce some exciting updates for Hay Days 2024!

This year, applying for a handicap permit has never been easier with our new online application process. Save time by submitting your application early.

In addition, we’ve implemented new vehicle guidelines to enhance your experience. All attendees bringing vehicles, except golf carts and handicap mobility vehicles, must register online in advance. Approval for alternative vehicles is contingent upon review by Hay Days management, ensuring a seamless event for all participants.

Please note, golf carts and mobility scooters are preferred for use on the grounds. If you plan to bring an alternative vehicle, it’s mandatory to apply online for approval ahead of time—no walk-ups will be accepted.

Thank you for your cooperation in making Hay Days 2024 a safe and enjoyable event for everyone.

  • Golf carts or mobility scooters are preferred for use on the Hay Days Grounds. Exceptions may be made for select vehicles based on approval from Hay Days management.
  • For any vehicle other than a golf cart or scooter, advanced registration is REQUIRED. No walk-ups allowed; any other vehicle that is not pre-registered and shows up at the gate will be turned away, no exceptions.

If your vehicle has been approved, you will be notified by Hay Days Management prior to the event.

  • You can now apply for your Handicap permit in advance online. This is required for any vehicle other than golf carts or mobility scooters.

Handicapped Information

Disabled persons who present the proper documentation are allowed to use their personal vehicles (Personal Electric Mobility Scooter, Golf Cart or PRE-APPROVED alternative vehicle) on the Hay Days Grounds by obtaining an exclusive Hay Days Handicap Sticker.

Walk-up applications will be available at all spectator gates for Golf Carts and Mobility Scooters ONLY.

Handicap stickers will be available at all spectator gates to those with proper documentation during box office hours. Failure to bring required documentation named below will result in denial of entry for the vehicle.

Save time and submit your application online HERE.

There is no onsite parking for handicap vehicles; however, local neighbor lots provide parking and are adjacent to the Hay Days grounds. Please check the map for exact locations of pay parking lots.

  1. Proof of Disability:
    • A doctor’s statement or letter of acceptance for a state handicapped plate/mirror hang card stating the name of the person wishing to bring the vehicle to Hay Days. A Handicap hang tag is not acceptable documentation.
  2. Proof of Liability Insurance:
    • A copy of the insurance policy naming the vehicle you are planning to use at Hay Days.
    • If the vehicle is not directly named on the policy, a copy of the policy that covers the vehicle and a letter from your insurance company showing the policy number that covers the vehicle you are bringing.

Documentation must be presented at the Spectator Gates. Failure to bring required documentation named above will result in denial of entry for the vehicle.

  • Personal Electric Mobility Scooters and Golf Carts are the only vehicles permitted for use without pre-registration.
  • If you wish to use a vehicle that is NOT a golf cart, you must pre-register prior to the event. Acceptance for a handicap pass will be contingent on approval from Hay Days management.
  • There will be NO walk-up submissions for any other type of vehicle other than a golf cart. Any other vehicle that is not pre-registered that shows up at the gate will be turned away, no exceptions.
  • If your vehicle has been approved, you will be notified by Hay Days Management prior to the event.
  • Only one additional person is allowed to ride on the vehicle, regardless of how many seats the vehicle holds. Failure to comply with this may result in the removal of your vehicle access from the grounds.
  • Speed must be kept to a minimum when moving about the grounds.
  • Consumption of alcoholic beverages is strictly prohibited for the driver of the vehicle.
  • Keep a copy of your paperwork with you while you are at Hay Days.
  • Pedestrians have the right of way.
  • Failure to comply and follow these requirements and rules will result in the vehicle not being allowed into or being removed from the Hay Days event.
